The daily program of the 6-day tour

Individual arrival at your hotel. You will have plenty of time to explore the charming city of Conegliano. On the hill, near Piazza Cima, stands the Castle, accessible via picturesque footpaths along the ancient Carraresi walls. The castle, a symbol of Conegliano, occupies a panoramic position, offering breathtaking views over the foothills, from the UNESCO Dolomites to the Venetian Lagoon.

After breakfast, you will take a transfer to Tarzo, a charming area filled with castles, historic residences, and Veneto villas overlooking Lake Revine, in Valmareno, nestled between the Treviso hills and the Veneto Pre-Alps. Today you will experience a perfect blend of nature and culture, walking through lush beech and chestnut woods until you reach Follina, considered one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, where history, art, and scenic landscapes come together for an unforgettable experience.

Today we will walk through small villages, vineyards, inns, and traditional wine cellars in the Conegliano–Valdobbiadene area, where wine has been produced since ancient times. Prosecco was first mentioned in 1772 and today the region is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its cultural landscape. Not to be missed is the Osteria Senz’Oste, (“Osteria Without Host”), a self-service wine bar built at the end of the 19th century, from where you can enjoy an enchanting view of the hills and vineyards growing on steep slopes. Next, visit Valdobbiadene, another gem of the Prosecco region. Wander through the historic center of the town and explore a Prosecco cellar for an immersive experience in the wine-making process, discovering the traditions and flavors that make this region unique.

Distance: 17 km / 10,5 miles

Ascent & Descent: +610m -560m

You will reach Guia by public bus and from there set off for the village above Col San Martino. Along the way, you will admire steep, cultivated slopes known as “little mountains” for their dramatic incline, rising about 500 meters—an ideal place for ripening Glera grapes, also called Costa d’Oro. The charming stone houses, churches, and capitelli of the numerous rural villages, including the quaint church of St. Gallen, make for a delightful sight. As the day comes to a close, enjoy a leisurely dinner at a local osteria, savoring the authentic flavors of the region. Raise your glass to a day well spent in the Prosecco countryside.

Distance: 12.5 km / 7,7 miles

Ascent & Descent: +400m -520m

Today you will explore the Prosecco lands, a region rich in scenic landscapes and architectural beauty. On the way to Collalto, admire the Piave River and the impressive San Salvatore Castle complex. Once in Susegana, the public bus will take you to the charming town of Conegliano, where your day concludes. Wander through its narrow streets, lined with colorful buildings and artisan shops, and discover the town’s highlights: Piazza Cima, the former convent of San Francesco, the medieval castle perched atop a hill with panoramic views of the surrounding vineyards, and the Torre della Campana, home to the civic museum.
