The daily program of the 7-day tour
Welcome to the capital of the Langhe! Your cycling tour begins in beautiful Alba, the city of the white truffle and fine wines. After checking in, we recommend a stroll through the historic center: Via Vittorio Emanuele (known locally as “Via Maestra”) offers a taste of the town’s charm and elegance. Don’t miss the Cathedral of San Lorenzo, the Astesiano Tower, and perhaps a wine tasting in one of the many enoteche. Fun fact: every October, Alba hosts the International White Truffle Fair, one of Italy’s most famous gastronomic events.
Through vineyards and UNESCO hills
Leaving Alba behind, you’ll dive into the heart of the Langhe hills, a mosaic of neat vineyards and old farmhouses. The route to Manera is a series of gentle climbs and descents, offering panoramic views over the vineyards of Nebbiolo, Barbera, and Dolcetto. Manera, a small hamlet of Benevello surrounded by hazelnut groves and peaceful countryside, is the perfect place to experience the region’s authentic, unhurried rhythm.
