Enjoy sun water and nature

Peschiera del Garda-Solferino-Desenzano-Bardolino-Verona-Custoza

Lake Garda is one of the nicest and also largest lake of Italy, surrounded by moraine hills in the South and enclosed by mountains in the North. Its shape is long and narrow, similar to a fjord. Three Italian regions are embracing the lake: Lombardia, Veneto and Trentino-Alto Adige. The mild Mediterranean climate makes it an excellent place to enjoy sun, water and nature. The lush green hills are covered with olive groves, lemon and orange trees, palms and vineyards producing excellent wines.

Garda lake

In this area we find the famous Bardolino and near Verona the excellent Valpolicella. These wines you can combine with local dishes like Yota, a delicious stew with beans, ham, potatoes and sauerkraut or the Tortellini di Valeggio made of a thin dough filled with meat.

This is an easy tour, suitable for everyone. You will visit the small lake towns Garda and Peschiera, which fortress and extern fortifications are on the Unesco world heritage list. But you visit also important places like Verona with its beautiful Roman Arena. The towns of Lake Garda are also famous for its markets where the joyful colours of fruit, red pepper, vegetables are mixed with pottery, leather items and other fun trinkets. Another nice experience is the ride along the Cycle path of the Mincio river, emissary which lets out at Peschiera.
All these ingredients will make this cycle tour an enjoyable and relaxing adventure!
